Morley Stoves5 StarJessie is a body alignment magician!
Couldn’t recommend her more. Years with a bad back thinking bad posture etc, to find out the issues with my back are linked to my toes?!
My back can be a 3/10 on starting a class with Jessie, and then leave 1hr later as an 8/10, super amazing!
Thanks Jessie!Saturday 2nd March 2024
jill aberdour5 StarOver the past two decades I have had many Pilates teachers and would rate only two as excellent, Jessie is one. She has years of experience and a thorough knowledge of anatomy and how the body works. Her attention to detail and hands on approach stops me from falling into lazy ways with my posture. You will be amazed at how much better you feel! Join us at the 9.15am class on Fridays at Reed Village Hall.Sunday 28th January 2024
Emma Lakin5 StarAs a sceptical middle aged cyclist who has done a lot of bike riding and settled in to a certain groove and set of expectations, not only about how my body is, but also what is likely to help and what is not, I can genuinely say that Jess provided me with a reason to re-consider.
I was experiencing neck pain from long hours in the saddle preparing for an ultra MTB race in Morocco (the Atlas Mountain Race) and very nervous about how 6 or more consecutive days of 14-15hrs in the saddle a day would play out on a neck which has slowly become a constant source of mild discomfort. What Jess prescribed was simple, easy to execute and well explained - and it worked, immediately. I'll be honest, I was surprised that something that has caused long term bother and I had kind of excepted as a cost of spending a lot of time in the saddle could be reversed so quickly, but it was. No magic potions, its an on-going process, but I can only recommend any cyclist who might be experiencing the typical cyclist aches or pains to give Jess a go, because for 3 sessions at a very reasonable rate - its probably the best money I've spent on my hobby in a long while!
And I finished the race, neck in tact and with an appetite for more!
Nice one Jess!Thursday 11th April 2024
Catherine Gil5 StarLoving this class with Jessie (9.15 on Friday at Reed Village Hall). Jessie is so well informed and really tailors the class to each individual. Her unique approach allows you to gently encourage muscle strength and a greater range of movement in a way that feels very safe and supported. I highly recommend this class!Sunday 10th December 2023
Sarah Robb5 Star“Before we started working with Jessie we were at our wits'end. My 11-year-old daughter was experienceing debilitating pain in her feet. We had seen specialist consultants, podiatrists and physiotherapists, had MRIs and dynamic ultrasounds, with the diagnosis that she has hypermobility but no way forward for any treatment to help. Jessie spent time really studying and understanding our daughter's movements - both her feet and all the interrelated bones and ligaments. She came up with a set of exercises that she was actually able to do and the transformation has been incredible. At the end of the Easter Term she was in a wheelchair. At the end of the Summer Term she won the long distance running athletics event. Her happiness, and ours, at being able to run around again, walk to school, swim and play is all down to Jessie. I can't recommend her highly enough. "Saturday 3rd February 2024
